Hailing from the United Kingdom, Chloe is the companies lead director and producer. In her short time so far in NYC, she has managed to direct well over ten full-length productions consisting of original works, contemporary pieces, and plenty of Shakespeare. Her innate talent to dissect a script, breathe life into characters, and bring out the most in her actors is what makes her such a unique artist.
Chloe studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and has worked with numerous other theatre companies here in NYC. Her most recent successes include co-directing and acting for the Ensemble Shakespeare Company, and directing the original piece “Book Club” for the Rogue Theatre Festival.
She also has a knack for editing and supervising scripts that are in their early phases/drafts, and often supervises DM’s resident playwright Gabriel Drax with his new works.
A native New Yorker from Brooklyn, Gabriel is an actor and writer who recently found his passion for writing plays in 2023. He began writing small scenes to perform for on-camera acting class so that he could play the characters he wanted to play. Fast forward to today, and he’s written two full-length plays with a third in the works!
He credits Chloe with bringing his works to life and being a sounding board to bounce ideas off of when drafting new works.
Despite being a playwright, he detests reading plays, and looks to old Film Noir classics and horror novels instead. He attributes most of his inspiration as a writer to the classic writer Clark Ashton Smith.
